44 years of the University: The Award of the Rector for best students awarded
The Ceremony of the Award of the Rector was held on February 12, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar. The best students of the first and second cycles were awarded the scroll of honour. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Education, assoc. prof. dr. Asim Peco addressed and H.E. Zeljko Komsic, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, addressed the audience and wished the awarded students, happiness in their future endeavours.
The second online meeting with students on the exchange
The International Relations Office organised the second online meeting with students on the exchange in the summer semester 2020/21. It was held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, via Zoom platform. Students are in good health, respecting all safety measures of their host country. During the meeting, academic and administrative problems at the host institution were discussed, as well as the current epidemiological situation. The agreement with the students is to organize a meeting once a week.
Zoom meeting with the University of Padova
On February 09, IRO had an online meeting with the International Relations Office representatives from the University of Padova. During an hour-long meeting, the representatives from the two institutions discuss the upcoming mobility project the two institutions are involved in 'UniAdrion Italy' but also a possibility to enter bilateral Erasmus+ cooperation.
44 years of the University: The formal session of the University Senate
Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar marked its 44th anniversary with the formal session held at the Centre for Culture in Mostar. The session, traditionally, was held on the same day as the first session of the University Senate 44 years ago. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, this year the ceremony was more modest compared to previous years. Nevertheless, it gathered the academic community and distinguished guests, including the member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, H.E. Sefik Dzaferovic.

A podcast about studying at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar for exchange students was held yesterday at 12:30 with students from InHolland University. Presentation of UNMO as a study destination included information about the mobility at UNMO, the offer for incoming students, extracurricular activities, application procedure, and the assistance offered by International Relations Office.
44 years of the University: Presentation of publications published by the University in 2020
14 monographs and 8 serial publications were presented, as well as the Catalogue of Selected Works of Art of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar. Vice-deans for science and research presented the publications of professors and associates from their respective Faculties, all published in 2020. Journals that are regularly published at faculties were also presented.
The scroll of honour for prof. dr. Fuad Catovic
The Rectors' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded a scroll of honour to prof. dr. Fuad Catovic for his exceptional contribution to the development of the University, outstanding work in the scientific, teaching, and professional fields, and the establishment of the reputation of the University in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
Posthumous scroll of honour for prof. dr. Stefan Sunaric
The Rectors' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded a posthumous scroll of honour to late prof. dr. Stefan Sunaric for his outstanding contribution to the development of the University, outstanding work in the scientific, teaching, and professional fields, and establishing the reputation of the University in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
44 years of the University: Laying flowers at the bust of Dzemal Bijedic
Today, Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar began with the celebration of the 44th anniversary of its founding and successful work. The first in a series of events was the laying of flowers on the bust of Dzemal Bijedic at 10:00 AM. In his speech, the Secretary-General of the University presented to the audience the legacy of Dzemal Bijedic and his role in the development of both Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina
