Online staff meeting within the International Week – Catholic University of Valencia
On Friday, May 7, 2021, the Catholic University of Valencia organized an online meeting with its KA 103 and KA 107 partners. The meeting gathered international relations officers from Catholic University of Valencia partner Universities in one place to discuss the impact COVID-19 has on their daily lives.
Call for International project of Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship
Participants of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Sweden, Croatia, Serbia and Albania are called to participate on an international project of Digital Technology Entrepreneurship that aims to equip the workers with required ICT skills for personal development in the fields of digital entrepreneurship and self-employment. The program is based on learning by doing methods and seeks to assemble participants from diverserealities to develop workshops that could improve the local situation of entrepreneurship and IT in their countries.
The eleventh online meeting with students on the exchange
The International Relations Office organised the fifth online meeting with students on the exchange in the summer semester 2020/21. It was held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, via Zoom platform. Students are in good health, respecting all safety measures of their host country. During the meeting, academic and administrative problems at the host institution were discussed, as well as the current epidemiological situation. The agreement with the students is to organize a meeting once a week.
Agro-Mediterranean studies - a new department
The focus of modern trends is on using information technology in various branches and disciplines. By following trends in education, there was a need to change the curriculum. Innovating existing curriculum includes a combination of information technologies and agriculture. By applying modern technologies in agriculture, it is possible to meet the requirements and interests in the field of primary production and processing of plants, food safety, and other areas of agricultural production
VIRAL: Spring brings three hackathons in Banja Luka, Mostar and Niksic
In the second half of May, a hackathon will be organized in Banja Luka, Mostar, and Niksic. Participants can apply the knowledge they acquired during their university education, and try to solve problems faced by companies from the agricultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. During the hackathon, the focus will be on the application of information technology through the development of software and/or hardware solutions
Interactive lecture by H.E. Valentin Inzko
An interactive lecture by H.E. Valentin Inzko was held on March 17. online, via the Microsoft Teams platform. The organizers were the Student Union of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Office of the High Representative. At the beginning of the lecture, the representative of the Student Union, Mirza Lalic, addressed the audience, and then the Vice-Rector for Teaching, Prof. Dr Asim Peco The Vice-Rector for Teaching emphasized the importance of proactive student action and more such activities but also that much greater investment in science and education in Bosnia and Herzegovina is needed.
