University Development Council Meeting
A meeting of the University Development Council was held today in the Rectorate building. Aspects of the development of the University were discussed, and those present gave recommendations for the improvement of higher education.

VIRAL: Tehnopolis Innovation Entrepreneurship Center - ICT
Representatives of the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar were involved in planning specific activities related to the organization of the EXPO event that is part of WP4, as well as activities within the WP2 work package. Work was done on finalizing the courses planned by the project, the implementation of which should begin in the new academic year.
Civil engineering faculty: Meeting within the HURBE Erasmus project in Zagreb
Prof. Dr. Maja Roso Popovac, local coordinator, Prof. Dr. Đani Rahimić, Prof. Dr. Žana Džubur visited Zagreb. The reason for the visit are the meetings within the HURBE Erasmus project in Zagreb. On June 20, they attended an informal meeting with representatives of BBR. On June 21, they attended a meeting at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb.
Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar: Visit of the Rector of the University of Tuzla
On Friday, June 25 prof. dr. Nermina Hadzigrahic visited the University. During the meeting, two rectors exchanged their experiences about the scientific and educational process. Also, they talked about the organization of university work, laws and bylaws at the cantonal level, university autonomy, and the continuation of successful cooperation between these two public universities.
NASA Mission Mars 2020: Signed agreement on the implementation of joint activities to monitor the project
On Wednesday, June 14, 2021, the Mayor of the Municipality of Jezero, Snežana Ružičić, visited the University on the occasion of the signing of the Agreement on the Implementation of Joint Activities in Monitoring the NASA Project Mars Mission 2020.
Interview with Assistant Professor Đani Rahimić
On the occasion of the "Bicycle Day", we talked with doc.dr Đani Rahimić, who in 2014, together with his colleagues, founded the Mountain Bike Association MTBA in Mostar. He is the president of the association, and actively participates in the implementation of numerous projects in the field of cycling, mapping of bicycle paths, and organizing sports competitions.
1. As a professor who has many years of experience in various fields of sports, where did the love for cycling come from?
Well, we all rode a bike as kids and enjoyed it not looking at it as a sport or recreation but as fun. With the development of mountain biking in our country, that love has reappeared, but now in combination with a tour of the mountains, which is also very fun and of course has a positive effect on psychophysical health.
