Quality Days 2026

The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar organised the Quality Days 2026 programme from 7 to 11 September 2026. The programme included six workshops and lectures that addressed various topics related to quality assurance and enhancement in higher education.

The programme began on Monday, 7 September, with two workshops. Alim Abazović, LL.B., Head of the Quality Assurance Service, conducted the first workshop, ‘Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) 2027: Announced Changes and Their Implications for the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar.’ The workshop focused on the announced changes to the ESG standards and their implications for the University.

Later that day, Edita Mulaosmanovic, MA, Professor of Bosnian Language and Literature, and Jasminka Tresnjo, BA in Library Science, representatives of the University Library of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, conducted the workshop/lecture ‘E-CRIS.BH: Researchers’ Personal Bibliographies and the Role of the University Library.’

On Tuesday, 8 September, Dr. Emina Hasanagic, representing the Faculty of Law of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, and Alim Abazovic, LL.B., Head of the Quality Assurance Service, conducted the workshop/lecture ‘Pilot Accreditation of Study Programmes: Experiences of the Faculty of Law.’

On Wednesday, 9 September, Dzenan Omanovic, representing the Centre for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education based in Mostar, led the workshop ‘Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL/RNIL): European Frameworks and Practice.’

On Thursday, 10 September, Dr. Edim Sator, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, delivered the lecture ‘Serious Games in Teaching: A Tool for Enhancing the Quality of Learning.’

Prof. dr. Amela Piralic, Vice-Rector for Science and Scientific Research at the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, concluded the programme on Friday, 11 September, by conducting the workshop ‘Mechanisms for Cooperation with the Business Sector.’ The workshop targeted members of the University Board of Governors, deans, vice-deans for scientific research, heads of university studies, and heads of doctoral studies.

The organisers held all workshops and lectures in the University Multidisciplinary Education Centre, in the Moot Court Room of the Faculty of Law.
