Faculty of Education: Roundtable on Water Quality

On 21 September 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m., the University of Mostar and the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar co-organized the final roundtable titled ‘Algal Blooms and Eutrophication of the Modrac and Jablanica Reservoirs’ at the University of Mostar Campus.

Dr. sc. Denisa Zujo Zekic, Associate Professor and Vice-Dean for Scientific Research at the Faculty of Education of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, and Dr. sc. Sanel Ridjanovic, Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Education, Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, presented their work and project activities at the event.

The project ‘Improving Water Quality through Research and Measures for Managing Algal Blooms in the Jablanica and Modrac Reservoirs in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ which the project team worked on throughout the past year, concluded with recommendations, guidelines, and specific tasks.
