Freshmen Class 2026

The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar held its traditional Freshmen Class on 1 October 2026 at 11:00 a.m., marking the start of the 2026/2027 academic year and welcoming a new generation of first-year students.

During the Freshmen Class, the University provided students with essential information about academic life and student activities, as well as the opportunities, facilities, and services available throughout their studies at the University.

The Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic, addressed the students and wished them a successful start to their studies and continued success throughout their academic journey. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Prof. Dr. Adnan Velagic, also addressed the freshmen.

Amar Obradovic, President of the Students' Union, welcomed the new students and highlighted the importance of student life, wishing them a successful start to their academic journey.

As a welcome gesture, Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar prepared special gifts for all freshmen.

The Freshmen Class provided an opportunity for the University to officially welcome the new generation of students and wish them a successful start to their studies, along with opportunities to gain new knowledge and experiences and achieve academic and personal success during their time at the University.
