Faculty of Economics: Ceremonial Session

As part of the ‘Days of the Faculty of Economics’ event, the Faculty of Economics of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar held a ceremonial session of its Scientific and Teaching Council to mark 50 years of the Faculty’s work and development.

The session brought together Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic, Rector of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar; deans of economics faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region; deans of other faculties at the University; vice-deans; professors; other representatives of the academic community; and representatives of political and public life.

During the session, participants highlighted the Faculty of Economics’ achievements, its contribution to higher education and scientific research, and the importance of cooperation with academic, economic, and social institutions.

As part of the ceremony, the Faculty presented certificates of appreciation to its academic and administrative staff, former professors and deans, faculties of economics, the Students’ Union, and the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic. The Faculty recognised their contributions to its development and standing over the past five decades.

Through this anniversary celebration, the Faculty of Economics highlighted the importance of its work in educating qualified professionals and contributing to the development of the academic community. The event also emphasised the Faculty’s commitment to further improving its teaching and scientific research activities.
