Faculty of Ecnomics: 50th Anniversary

On Monday, 5 October 2026, Rector of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Goran Curic opened the ‘Faculty of Economics Days’ by cutting the ribbon.

As part of the opening ceremony, the Faculty presented the exhibition ‘Knowledge as Capital’, which showcases a retrospective of the Faculty of Economics’ publishing activities and development from 1976 to 2026. The event, organized to mark the Faculty’s 50th anniversary, brought together numerous guests, partners, academic staff, students, and friends of the Faculty.

Over the coming days, the Faculty will organize activities for students, partners from the business and public sectors, and participants in the 6th International Scientific Conference ‘Legal and Economic Aspects of the Integration Process of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Union’.

This ceremony provides an opportunity to present the Faculty’s work and development, exchange knowledge and experience, and strengthen cooperation with the academic, business, and wider social community.
