Fourth Green Day

The AgroMediterranean Faculty of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar organized the event Fourth Green Day on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, on the Faculty premises.

Throughout the academic year, students of the AgroMediterranean Faculty cultivated medicinal, aromatic, and ornamental plants, as well as seedlings of various vegetable species, which they showcased to visitors during the event.

Numerous visitors selected seedlings for their gardens, balconies, and terraces while learning about the results of the students’ and academic staff’s work. Once again, the event served as a gathering place for education, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of experiences among nature enthusiasts, gardeners, and advocates of sustainable development.

Green Day not only promoted plants, horticulture, and student achievements but also raised awareness of the importance of nature conservation, the enhancement of green spaces, and the protection of biodiversity. Through initiatives such as this, the AgroMediterranean Faculty continues to promote sustainable practices and encourage a responsible approach to environmental stewardship.
