Visits of High School Seniors to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

From March 13 to March 26, 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering organized a series of activities to promote its study programs and strengthen cooperation with high schools.

On Friday, March 13, 2026, Faculty representatives visited the Public Institution Secondary Electrical Engineering School Salih-Salko Curic in Mostar and presented first-cycle study programs to senior students, with a special focus on the new Electrical Engineering study program.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering hosted senior students from Gymnasium Mostar, who, accompanied by their teacher, explored the study programs in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. During the visit, professors and teaching assistants presented the teaching process, explained available specializations, and outlined career opportunities after graduation. They guided the students through the laboratories of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, where they conduct practical classes, and introduced them to extracurricular activities, various training sessions, and competitions, as well as exchange programs that enable study visits to European universities.

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering also welcomed senior students from the Public Institution Secondary Mechanical and Traffic School Mostar, who visited the Faculty together with their teachers.
