Visit of Konjic High School Students to the Agro-Mediterranean Faculty

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, students from the Secondary Agricultural-Technical School in Konjic visited the Agro-Mediterranean Faculty of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar.

During the visit, the faculty presented the study programs Biotechnology and Nutrition to the students and introduced them to the opportunities available during their studies. The visit placed special emphasis on practical exercises, where students gained new knowledge and experience through hands-on laboratory work.

As part of the visit, the students observed pollen under a microscope, carried out the “blue bottle” reaction, explored microorganisms in soil, and learned about a smart greenhouse, the refractometry method, and hydroponic production in closed systems. Through these practical activities, they further expanded their understanding of biotechnical sciences.
