As part of the Faculty of Humanities Day celebration, the Faculty held an award ceremony on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, within the ‘Towards the Future’ initiative. Prof. Dr. Dijana Hadzizukic presented the awards.
Fourth-year students from the Department of Bosnian Language and Literature, Muhamed Ahmuljic and Lejla Basic, launched the project to recognize, support, and encourage high school students.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Dijana Hadzizukic emphasized the importance of supporting young people on their educational journey and expressed her hope that the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar will become their future academic choice.
The Faculty presented awards in the following categories: culture and arts, social engagement and volunteerism, academic achievement and research, and sports.
The award recipients are: Samra Karadza (Medical High School Mostar) – academic achievement and research; Hamza Dzafic (Karadjoz-bey Madrasa) – culture and arts; Majda Obradovic (Second Gymnasium Mostar) – social engagement and volunteerism; Djana Sehic (Public High School Jablanica) – social engagement and volunteerism; Arduana Macic (Secondary Electrical Engineering School ‘Salih-Salko Curic Mostar) – social engagement and volunteerism; Hamza-Ali Delic (Public High School Jablanica) – sports; Emina Djulic (Second Gymnasium Mostar) – sports.
Based on audience votes, Hatidza Golos, a student of Karadjoz-bey Madrasa, received the special recognition.
