On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, students from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Education, along with Prof. Dr. Merima Jasarevic, participated in the Breaking Beats Academic workshop as part of the 'Youth and Innovation for Social Cohesion in Post-Conflict Context' project.
The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Faculty of Education supported the project as part of a wider network that included the non-governmental sector and the University of Mostar.
During the event, students participated in a discussion held at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Mostar, where they presented their perspectives, asked questions, and contributed to debates with international and local experts—including lawyers, political scientists, psychologists, and psychotherapists—as well as other academic and non-academic professionals.
The discussion addressed topics such as peacebuilding, youth engagement, trauma, forgiveness, education, and future perspectives, offering students not only insights but also the opportunity to share their views and make contributions to dialogue on social cohesion in post-conflict contexts.
