Faculty of Education: International Conference in Zenica

On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Zenica hosted the 2nd International Scientific and Professional Conference entitled ‘Education and the Challenges of the Contemporary Era – Science in the Service of Practice.’ The conference brought together teachers, researchers, experts, and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.

Staff members of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Education participated in the conference and presented the research paper entitled ‘The Prevalence of Internet Addiction among Adolescents and Its Association with Generalized Problematic Internet Use,’ authored by Mr. Haris Sunje, MA, Assist. Prof. Aldina Leto, PhD, and Associate Prof. Dijana Ivanisevic, PhD.

At the invitation of the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ekrem Colakhodzic, PhD, also attended the conference. This meeting will mark the beginning of cooperation between the Faculty of Education at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty at the University of Zenica.
