11th International Scientific and Professional Conference BDC 2026

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica organized the 11th International Scientific and Professional Conference, BDC 2026: Building Resilient and Adaptive Economies, from 4 to 5 June 2026.

Prof. Dr. Goran Curic, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, attended the conference.

Prof. Dr. Ajla Muratovic-Dedic, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica; Prof. Dr. Jusuf Durakovic, Rector of the University of Zenica; Prof. Dr. Adisa Delic, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tuzla; Prof. Dr. Mazlum Çelik, representative of Hasan Kalyoncu University; Prof. Dr. Asma Boussetta and Prof. Dr. Cornel Oros, representatives of the University of Poitiers who joined online; and Dr. Alem Merdic, President of the Conference Organizing Committee, officially opened the conference and addressed the participants.

Through presentations, discussions, and the dissemination of scientific and professional papers, participants explored how modern economies can respond to contemporary challenges and develop more resilient and adaptive development models.

The conference provided an opportunity for academics and professionals to connect with colleagues, exchange experiences, and establish new forms of cooperation.
