Visit of Karadjoz-bey’s Madrasa Students to the Pharmacy Study Program

On February 12, 2026, the University Study Program in Pharmacy hosted third-year students of Karadjoz-bey’s madrasa.

Senior Teaching Assistant Dzenita Alibegic and Teaching Assistant Chiara Marino Tanovic led the visit, introducing the students to the fundamentals of laboratory work through both theoretical instruction and practical training.

At the beginning of the visit, the assistants introduced the students to laboratory safety rules, emphasizing the importance of responsible conduct and demonstrating the proper use of protective equipment and laboratory protocols. They also presented basic laboratory glassware and explained its purpose.

Through practical exercises, the students learned about the titration process and the fundamentals of volumetric analysis. They concluded the visit by measuring the pH value of a solution and performing precise mass measurements using an analytical balance.
