The University Marks Its Anniversary by Showcasing Publications

To mark the 49th anniversary of the University, the Faculty of Education hosted a presentation of the University’s publishing activity in 2025, where presenters highlighted the publications from various scientific fields.

During the event, speakers presented the photo monograph 75 Years of the Faculty of Education of Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar: 1950–2025. Associate Professor Dr. Denisa Zujo Zekic, Vice Dean for Research, spoke about this publication. The editors, Associate Professor Dr. Sanja Merzic and Associate Professor Dr. Rijad Novakovic, introduced the journals Educa and Sportski logos to the audience.

Assistant Professor Dr. Jasna Hasanbegovic, Vice Dean for Research, presented the publications of the Agromediterranean Faculty — Risk Analysis and Assessment in the Environment and Food and Cherry – Prunus avium L.

Associate Professor Dr. Sanvila Vuk spoke about the publications of the Faculty of Economics, including Fundamentals of Organization, Islamic Financial Institutions – Theoretical Principles and Their Role in the Modern Financial System, and the Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics.

Associate Professor Dr. Edin Sunje presented the publication Plastic Injection Molding Technologies, while the author, Associate Professor Dr. Zana Dzubur, presented the textbook Introduction to Civil Engineering. Assistant Professor Dr. Goran Skondric, Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Information Technologies, presented the publication "Applied Artificial Intelligence."

Representatives of the Faculty of Law presented the serial publications Family Law Days, Yearbook of the Faculty of Law, and Review for Law and Economics, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sunčica Hajdarovic spoke about them. Professor Dr. Dijana Hadzizukic presented monographs and serial publications in the fields of language, literature, and history on behalf of the Faculty of Humanities.

Jasminka Trešnjo, a graduate librarian, presented the professional publication Bibliography of Published Works in the Serial Publications of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar. MA Edita Mulaosmanović, Head of the University Library, moderated the program.

Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar currently counts a total of 446 publications. These include nine serial publications with 177 volumes containing 2,594 scientific and professional papers and reviews. The University Library has compiled the University’s entire publishing output in its Archival Collection and provides access to it through the online catalog.
