SUNRISE CHALLENGE: Basketball Tournament

The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar organized a basketball tournament as part of the SUNRISE Alliance and the broader sports and educational competition, SUNRISE Challenge. High school students from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton participated in the tournament.

Prof. Dr. Rijad Novakovic, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation opened the tournament.

Tournament results:

1st place: Secondary School Konjic

2nd place: Secondary Electrical Engineering School ‘Salih Salko Curic’ Mostar

3rd place: Secondary School of Civil Engineering Mostar

The organizers scheduled additional activities within the SUNRISE Challenge, including a table tennis tournament, athletics competitions, and a knowledge quiz.

Through this event, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar implements activities that integrate sports and educational content.
