Faculty of Economics: UniCredit Academy for Future Entrepreneurs

On April 9 and 10, 2026, the Faculty of Economics hosted the UniCredit Academy for Future Entrepreneurs.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Goran Curic, opened the event and emphasized the importance of developing entrepreneurial competencies and practical skills among young people in his introductory address.

A total of 50 participants attended the Academy, including first-year students of the Faculty of Economics and final-year students from the Secondary School of Economics Mostar. During the two-day programme, participants worked in teams to develop business ideas, attended lectures, and presented their ideas to a jury.

At the end of the programme, the jury selected the winning team, which included Faris Memic, Almedina Zilic, and Yasir Ali, students of the Faculty of Economics, as well as Mahir Cevra and Farah Jusic, final-year students of the Secondary School of Economics Mostar.

The winning team developed a business idea titled ‘Low-cost AR/VR Solutions for Museums and Schools.’ During the closing ceremony, the organizers awarded prizes to all participants and recognized the most successful individuals.
