Cantonal Competition in Bosnian Language and Literature

On April 9, 2026, the Cantonal Competition in Bosnian Language and Literature took place at the Faculty of Humanities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. High school students competed in three segments: a research paper, a knowledge test, and a presentation.

In the first segment, students chose one of ten offered topics and prepared their research papers. Jury members reviewed and evaluated all submitted papers according to predefined criteria.

The organizers conducted the knowledge test on the same day, starting at 9 a.m., and student teams completed it together. The organizers coded the tests, and jury members evaluated them jointly.

In the final segment, students presented their research papers, demonstrating their analytical and communication skills.

After calculating the total scores from all three segments, the organizers announced the most successful participants. JU High School Jablanica achieved the best result in the knowledge test, while the Second Gymnasium Mostar received the award for the best research paper and presentation.

In the overall ranking, Gymnasium Mostar won first place, the Second Gymnasium Mostar took second place, and JU High School Jablanica secured third place.
