9th Debate Competition at the Faculty of Law: Day One

The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar officially opened the 9th Debate Competition at its Faculty of Law on Thursday, 2 April 2026, bringing together high school and university students.

With support from the OSCE and the Sunrise Alliance, the competition is organized by the Faculty of Law, the Student Union, and the Law Students’ Association.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinebegovic opened the event, while Dean Prof. Dr. Amra Jasarbegovic and Student Union President Amar Obradovic addressed the participants.

On the first day, participants engaged in a total of 12 debates on various topics, fostering critical thinking, argumentation, and the exchange of ideas.

The following teams secured their places in the semifinals, scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2026: Gymnasium Bugojno 1, Second Gymnasium 1, Medical School Mostar, and Secondary Electrical Engineering School ‘Salih – Salko Curic Mostar 1.
