50 Years of the Faculty of Law

On April 24, 2026, the Faculty of Law of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar marked its 50th anniversary with a ceremonial academy at the National Theatre Mostar.

As part of the ceremony, the Faculty opened the exhibition ‘The Book as a Witness of Continuity’ and presented its publishing activities.

Dean Prof. Dr. Amra Jasarbegovic, Minister of Education, Science and Culture Adnan Velagic, and President of the City Council of Mostar Djani Rahimic addressed the audience.

Throughout April, the Faculty organized a series of activities to celebrate 50 years of its existence and work. On April 3 and 4, it organized a debate competition for university and high school students, and on April 13 and 14, it hosted a student conference that brought together law students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
