Summer School 2025 – ‘Mojoj BiH – Open Your Mind’

On the 28th of July 2025, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar hosted the Summer School ‘Mojoj BiH – Open Your Mind’, which brought together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, and Switzerland.

Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amlea Piralic welcomed all participants and introduced them to the University, its faculties, and study programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maid Pajevic led an interactive workshop on “The Role of Leadership in the Contemporary Security Environment.” Mr. Sanela Kuko conducted a workshop on “Public Speaking with a Focus on Stage Fright,” where participants learned about verbal and non-verbal communication, public speaking, and presentations, and practiced techniques to overcome stage fright. The program concluded with a tour of the University campus.

The Summer School helped participants develop their personal and professional skills and exchange experiences and cultural knowledge with peers from different countries. Activities like this strengthen the University’s international cooperation and promote Mostar as a centre for education and knowledge exchange.
