On the 30th of October 2025, as part of the scientific-research project ‘International Parental Child Abduction in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia – Between the Normative and the Actual’, Assistant Professor Dr. Katja Drnovšek from the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor visited the Faculty of Law.
During the meeting, participants examined the key differences in how the legal systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia regulate international parental child abduction, and discussed the challenges that law enforcement and legal application bodies face in this complex field.
The Programme of Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2024–2025 supports the implementation of the project. The Bosnian research team includes Associate Professor Dr. Ramajana Demirovic, Professor Dr. Anita Durakovic, Professor Dr. Maja Colakovc, Associate Professor Dr. Denis Pajic, Assistant Professor Dr. Suncica Hajdarovic, and Senior Teaching Assistant MA Aldin Jelovac.
