ESN Air – second midterm meeting

The second midterm meeting of the ESN Air project was held on 16.10.2025. to 17.10.2025.

The first day started with the welcome address by Prof. Rijad Novaković, Vice Rector for International Cooperation at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, Maja Kazazić, ESN AIR team leader at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, and  Silvia Mangialardo, ESN-AIR Coordinator from Polytechnic University of Ancona.

The working part of the meeting started with the presentation of WP1 – project management and coordination - by Silvia Mangialardo. Mrs. Mangialardo talked about advancements, intermediate progress report, and financial aspects, Deadlines, Final project meeting in Montenegro. All Universities involved in this WP also presented their work. ESN Ancona and ESN Albania were responsible for presenting preparatory measures carried out to establish the ESN Section in Shkodra and the ESN Section in Podgorica within WP3.

Discussion about the WP4 included a presentation about the training of students and staff and the organization of Erasmus info days and peer discussions. Within WP5, all universities from Western Balkan countries presented their activities regarding awareness campaigns in primary and secondary schools, as well as the timetable for the second set of workshops in elementary and secondary schools.

The end of the first day ended with the exchange of best practices.

The second day started with the discussion about the WP6 Communication and dissemination and planning of the final conference in Podgorica, followed by the presentation of WP7, which deals with the impact and sustainability. The emphasis was on the drafting of the Memorandum of Understanding between the members of the consortium.  The second day ended with the Sterring Committee meeting and the Quality Assurance Committee Meeting.
