Agro-Mediterranean Faculty Contributes to Health and Food Safety

Members of the Agro-Mediterranean Faculty participated in an event held in Sarajevo on World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (18–24 November 2025), where experts warned that Bosnia and Herzegovina belongs to a region with above-average antibiotic use.

At the round table titled “Building Awareness of Antimicrobial Resistance Together,” organized in support of the global campaign by the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with Perutnina Ptuj BiH, participants included representatives of institutions and the academic community, as well as experts in food safety, veterinary medicine, public health, and agriculture.

The involvement of representatives of the Agro-Mediterranean Faculty once again demonstrates the Faculty’s commitment to contributing to professional initiatives aimed at strengthening public health, food safety, and sustainable agricultural production.
