18th Plant Protection Symposium
The Agro Mediterranean FacultyFaculty participated in the 18th Plant Protection Symposium in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held at Hotel Mostar from November 4 to 6, 2025.
Students enrolled in Phytomedicine courses, accompanied by their Prof. Dr. Vedrana Komlen, attended expert lectures and presentations on the latest research in entomology, phytopathology, phytopharmacy, herbology, and integrated plant protection.
Through successful collaboration with the Federal Agropedological Institute in Sarajevo, the Faculty co-authored a joint scientific paper titled The Impact of Plant Protection and Nutrition of Vegetables in a Protected Area on the Content of Copper and Cadmium in Soil.
This participation strengthens the faculty’s scientific research efforts and connects students with practical experience. The Agro Mediterranean Faculty Faculty promotes cooperation and participates in scientific and professional events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
