Law Students Participate in EU Simulation Event

Students from the Faculty of Law participated in the EU Simulation Workshop alongside high school pupils from the Mostar area.

Students from the Faculty of Law participated in the EU Simulation Workshop alongside high school pupils from the Mostar area. The organizers held the workshop on Tuesday, May 14, 2025, at the City Hall of Mostar. Professor Dr. Emina Hasanagic accompanied the students.

The workshop involved teamwork, the simulation of real-life challenges, and debates. Europe House Mostar and the Youth Council of the City of Mostar organized the event as part of the Europe Day celebration program. Their goal was to engage young people in simulating the work of European Union institutions, with a special focus on the accession process of candidate countries.

The workshop took place in English. Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adebayo Babajide, attended the event and introduced the participants to processes relevant to their future and the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through this interactive program, the young participants:

  • Gained practical knowledge about how the EU functions,
  • Developed skills in argumentation and negotiation,
  • Learned more about democratic processes and European integration.
