Blagaj 5K Race 2025

On Saturday, April 27, 2025, the staff and students of the Faculty of Education at the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar participated in the Balagaj 5K Race 2025 as the team Faculty of Education – Department of Sports and Health.

The event took place in the natural setting of the Balagaj excursion site near Blagaj, where the Faculty of Education team achieved notable results. Student Alma Hrnjic won 1st place in the women's competition.

Victor Calvet Gadea, a former Erasmus+ exchange student at the Department of Sports and Health during the winter semester of 2020/21 and 2021/22, also participated in the race. By running alongside the team, he continued to strengthen his connection with the university and supported promoting sports and healthy living.

This event provided an opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles and physical activity among students and staff while contributing to community development through sports activities.
