Letter for a Smile

The Student Union successfully carried out the humanitarian campaign Letter for a Smile for the children from the Children's Orphanage Mostar.

The staff and students of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar collected 2312 BAM, which they used to purchase gifts for the children of this institution. Representatives of the Association of Faculty Students collected funds between December 23 and 26. The representatives transformed the donations into gift packages for the children.

The Children's Orphanage Mostar provides care for children without parental care, and the Student Union aims to bring smiles to their faces. The children wrote letters expressing their wishes, and the students were happy to fulfill them. With the collected funds, they purchased toys, clothing, footwear, cosmetics, school supplies, and many other items, bringing joy to the children’s lives.

Through this humanitarian initiative, the students and staff demonstrated their commitment to supporting the community and helping the youngest members of society. In this way, they strengthened solidarity and teamwork while achieving this noble goal.
