Rectors' Conference

In 2025, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar assumed the role of the Rectors' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina chair. Rectors of public higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina operate within the framework of the Rectors' Conference, which coordinates activities, facilitates the exchange of experiences, and promotes the development of higher education.

At the second session of the Assembly, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic, chair of the Rectors' Conference, presented the highest honours, including the Golden Coat of Arms and plaques. She awarded these honours for contributions to the development of universities through work in scientific, educational, and professional fields in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. Prof. Dr. Zoran Tomic, Rector of the University of Mostar; Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadzigrahic, Rector of the University of Tuzla; Prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin, Rector of the University of Banja Luka; Prof. Dr. Fadil Islamovic, Vice-Rector for Finance and former Rector of the University of Bihac; and Prof. Dr. Nevzet Veladzic, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Inter-University Cooperation and former Rector of the University of Bihac, all received the Golden Coat of Arms of the Rectors' Conference.

Prof. Dr. Adnan Velagic, Prof. Dr. Sc. Belma Pojskic, Prof. Dr. Nikola Mojovic, Prof. Dr. Milenko Pikula, Prof. Dr. Sanja Bijaksic, Prof. Dr. Zdenko Klepic, and Prof. Dr. Sadik Latifagic received the Rectors' Conference Plaque.
