As part of the 48th-anniversary celebrations, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar organized a formal reception for retired employees in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Economics.

As part of the 48th-anniversary celebrations, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar organized a formal reception for retired employees in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Economics. Rector Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic addressed the attendees. After her speech, the rector handed thank-you certificates and gift vouchers to the university's retired employees. On behalf of the former employees and certificate recipients, academician Prof. Emeritus Elbisa Ustamujic spoke to the attendees.

The University management laid flowers at the commemorative bust of Dzemal Bijedic and the memorial plaque of Midhad Hujdur Hujka and his fellow fighters. They honored their historical roles and significance for the City of Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After laying the flowers, they continued the gathering with lunch for the retired employees of the University.

The upcoming activities within the 48th-anniversary program include the promotion of publishing activities and a table tennis tournament for students on Tuesday, February 11. Scientific, research and international projects will be presents on Wednesday, February 12, and doctoral graduates promotion is planned for Thursday, February 13. The formal session of the Senate will take place on Friday, February 14. The final activity will be the official graduation ceremony and diploma awarding on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
