Law students engaged in the discussion ‘Youth Against Shadows: Security and Resilience in Times of Organized Crime’, hosted by the Faculty of Law on 28 November 2025. The Center for Security Studies and the Faculty of Law organized the event with support from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
During the opening segment, participants explored the Palermo Convention, a key international document in the fight against transnational organized crime, and examined the 2023–2026 strategy for combating organized crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Later, Mr. Emir Basic, Director of the Federal Agency for Managing Seized Assets, showcased the Agency’s work.
The event gave students a valuable chance to expand their understanding of contemporary security challenges and actively shape the discussion on how youth contribute to building a resilient and safe society.
