Second-year students of the University’s Tourism Studies program develop tourism products and accompanying marketing campaigns for the University’s partners in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and destination management as part of their marketing course.
They carry out these activities during the teaching process under the mentorship of Professor Veldin Ovčina and Teaching Assistant Sara Kljajic, using the Canvas methodology. Through teamwork, the students analyze the needs of target groups and define the value proposition, communication channels, customer relationships, as well as key resources and partners.
The students place special emphasis on creating authentic tourism experiences, ensuring the sustainability of the offer, and strengthening destination recognition, while designing marketing campaigns aligned with contemporary digital marketing trends.
This form of practical teaching demonstrates the University’s commitment to modern educational practices that connect theoretical knowledge with the real needs of the labor market, contributing to the development of innovation and professional competencies among students in the field of tourism.
