Representatives of the University’s Faculty of Law—Prof. Dr. Nerma Colakovic-Prguda, Prof. Dr. Denis Pajic, and Teaching Assistant MA Amna Mustafic Grebovic attended a two-day training course organized by the Council of Europe.
The training focused on enhancing human rights education, with a particular emphasis on the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, within the curricula of law faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training took place on 17 and 18 December 2025 and brought together law professors from universities in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Mostar, aiming to strengthen the quality and practical value of human rights teaching.
During the training, participants addressed key challenges in contemporary human rights education, exchanged experiences and examples of good practice, and emphasized the importance of a systematic and practice-oriented approach to human rights education. This approach includes the analysis of real court cases, the development of critical legal reasoning, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools in teaching.
