Monitoring and Prevention of Machinery Failures: New IT Project Introduced

Prof. Dr. Safet Isic from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering gave a presentation at the conference.

He presented the project ‘Development of an IT System for Monitoring and Intelligent Prevention of Machinery Failures in Real Time’, focusing on the application of intelligent systems in power plant monitoring.

The project is implemented under an R&D grant scheme, jointly funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science and UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina through the project ‘Better Governance for Faster Economic Growth (EGG2)’, financed by the Government of Norway, and the program ‘Translating the Framework for Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals in BiH into Sustainable and Inclusive Growth (SDG2BIH)’, funded by Sweden.

The conference ‘Transition 2025 – Renewable Energy, Digitalization, and Responsible Industry’ took place on November 20, 2025, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
