Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, together with INTERA Technology Park, participates in the international CapTTict project, which aims to strengthen technology transfer capacities, support innovation, and develop ICT startups through cooperation among educational institutions, research organizations, and industry.
University representatives visited the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad on November 20 and 21 for the CapTTict SO3 event, where they presented the results of mapping the ICT sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and highlighted the University’s role in that process.
The team included Prof. Dr. Veldin Ovcina, Prof. Dr. Irma Dedic, and Assist. MA Sara Kljajic from the Faculty of Economics, as well as Prof. Dr. Nina Bijedic from the Faculty of Information Technologies.
They presented an overview of the domestic ICT ecosystem, identified key actors, educational institutions, and research centers, and analyzed their potential for collaboration, knowledge transfer, and innovation development.
The event in Novi Sad brought together partners from nine countries in the Danube region and the European Union, focusing on exchanging experiences, sharing good practices, and connecting institutions that can contribute to faster technological development and knowledge dissemination.
The project will hold its next international meeting in January 2026 in Prague, where participants will continue working on recommendations, innovation support programs, and strengthening cooperation among all institutions involved in the project.
