On April 15, 2025, the students of the Faculty of Law, accompanied by Assistant MA Amna Mustafic Grebovic, visited the Centre for Criminal-Technical Expertise of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton as part of their study of the subject Criminal Procedural Law.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the procedural action of expert examination, examining the procedure, its phases, scientific and professional methods and skills, and their application to the items. They also learned about specific types of expert examinations.
After that, the staff introduced the students to the basics of crime scene investigation, including discovering, securing, and describing traces, carrying out necessary measures, creating sketches, taking photographs, and collecting other data important for criminal proceedings.
Officers of the Sector of the Criminal Police — ballistics expert Elvedin Pajevic, cybercrime inspector Marko Baric, and senior criminal-technical officer Tarik Omanovic — addressed the students and spoke about their work in the field.
