As part of the activities promoting healthy lifestyles, Associate Professor Dr. Aida Sukalic, a professor at the Department of Nutrition, and student Edina Berberovic delivered an lecture on April 22 at the Fourth Elementary School in Mostar.
They explained the harmful effects of energy drinks and fast food, highlighting how caffeine, guarana, tannins, and sugar negatively affect children’s bodies.
Pupils prepared and presented creative and educational versions of healthy meals and drinks.
Representatives of the Council of the Pupils attended the lecture and joined the discussion.
During the visit, Dr. Sukalic and Edina Berberovic distributed educational materials to help students understand the importance of healthy eating habits.
