Meeting Held with Representatives of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Representatives from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Assistant Minister for Science and Culture Suvad Dzafić and COST Coordinator Alma Hasanović, met with officials from the "Dzemal Bijedic" University of Mostar to promote the Horizon Europe program.

Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic, Rector of the "Dzemal Bijedic" University, praised the ministry representatives' visit. She emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue between public administration and educational and research organizations.

During the meeting, Assistant Minister Suvad Dzafić informed participants about the support programs for Horizon Europe that the Ministry of Civil Affairs implements. He also stressed the need for relevant entities and cantonal ministries to enhance their support for science and innovation through dedicated funding.

Alma Hasanović updated attendees on the COST program, highlighting that participation in COST projects provides valuable opportunities to connect with international partners.

The "Dzemal Bijedic" University of Mostar actively participates in the Horizon Europe program and numerous domestic and international research projects funded by the European Union.
