International Staff Week at Saarland University

Saarland University hosted an International Staff Week from October 7th to October 11th, 2024. The event was organized under the Erasmus+ program key action 171.

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic, and international relations officer Mirsada Behram represented the University at the International Staff Week.

The University representatives took advantage of the participation in the International Staff Week to agree with the representatives of Saarland University on strengthening the cooperation between the two Universities. Two institutions have agreed for the Faculty of Law of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Faculty of Law of the Saarland University to apply for the DAAD project, intensifying the cooperation between the Departments of German Language and Literature of both Universities and including the Departments of Sports and Health in the existing Erasmus+ KA 171 project. They also discussed ID cards for incoming students and how to introduce them at the institutional level.

During the International Staff Week, all participants had the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
