Newly Appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Mostar Visits Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar

The newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Mostar, H.E. Fatih Ekinci, visited Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar today, where the university’s Rector, Professor Alena Huseinbegović, Ph.D., and her team warmly welcomed him. During the visit, the parties held a meeting highlighting the strong collaboration between Turkey and Džemal Bijedić University, particularly in the fields of education and science, as well as in implementing numerous infrastructure projects, including the construction of the state-of-the-art Antalya Student Dormitory.

Rector Huseinbegović extended her warm welcome to the Consul General, wishing him success in his new role. She provided an overview of the university's history, activities, and its significance in the development of the local community. She also discussed ongoing and planned projects, emphasizing the university's commitment to continuing and strengthening its collaboration with the Turkish Consulate in Mostar.
