47. years of the University: Promotion of the Doctors of Science

The penultimate event of marking the 47th anniversary of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar was the promotion of Doctor of Science.

Rector of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar , prof. dr. Alena Huseinbegović promoted  five candidates to the honour of Doctor of Sciences.

Damir Špago was promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of technical sciences of mechanical engineering, scientific area of process and energy engineering.

Dženan Vukotić was promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of biotechnical sciences in the scientific field of agriculture (agronomy), scientific area of ecology and environmental protection.

Emir Hodžić was promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of technical sciences in the scientific field of civil engineering, scientific area of load-bearing structures.

Nedim Badžak was promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of biotechnical sciences, in the scientific field of agriculture (agronomy), the scientific area of fruit growing.

Stjepan Skoko was promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of social sciences, in the scientific field of kinesiology, the scientific area of kinesiology of sports and recreation.

As part of the promotion of the Doctor of Science, the Rector of the University, prof. dr. Alena Huseinbegović, Vice-Rector for Education, prof. dr. Azra Špago addressed the audience. In addition, the mentors presented the candidate's biographies, previously acquired academic titles, the report on the defense of the doctoral dissertation, and the report on the candidate's contribution to scientific and research work.

Rector, prof. dr. Alena Huseinbegović congratulated the candidates who were promoted to the honor of Doctor of Science and wished them success in their future work.
