The pinnacle of the celebration of the 47th anniversary of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar was today’s promotion and awarding of diplomas to 493 graduates who completed their University studies i.e. 367 first cycle studies graduates and 126 second cycle studies graduates, in addition to 5 doctoral graduates.
In a festive atmosphere before the start of the very promotion, the rector of the University, prof. dr. Alena Huseinbegović addressed the students: “The University is constantly working to improve the education system, through new study programs, quality teaching process, significant scientific and research work, infrastructure projects, and thus creates a foundation for the development of competent and motivated young people capable of adapting to the challenges and needs of the labour market in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We expect our graduates to become the best and most efficient ambassadors and representatives of our University, that is, to represent the University in the best possible way through future jobs and life engagements. To all our graduates who, as an intellectual elite, will be the initiators and bearers of the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina society, I send sincere congratulations and wish them much success in their future life and work.”
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, prof. dr. Adnan Velagić and the president of the Student Union, Kenan Begović have sent a strong message to the graduates emphasizing their role in building of Bosnia and Herzegovina society.
Then, the deans and heads of university studies presented the graduates with their diplomas.
