As part of the course 'Project Management in Tourism', third-year students from the Tourism Studies program, under the mentorship of Professor Alisa Gekic, visited Tito's Bunker in Konjic on the 25th of December, 2024.
This field trip provided students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge about the history of Tito's Bunker. During the tour, students explored the bunker's architecture, its historical context, and how such a site can be utilized through tourism projects.
The Tourism Studies program aims to allow students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experiences. The visit to Tito's Bunker in Konjic is yet another example of how fieldwork contributes to students' education in tourism and the design of innovative tourism offerings.
Through activities like these, the Tourism Studies program not only educates future professionals but also contributes to promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural heritage.
