The lectures 'Domestic Violence' and 'The Position of Women in the Police' were held

The Faculty of Law hosted a lecture and discussion titled Domestic Violence on the 18th of December.

The Faculty of Law hosted a lecture and discussion titled Domestic Violence on the 18th of December. Nijaz Tucakovic, an independent inspector and head of the Department for Human Resources and Logistics at the Ministry for Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, delivered the lecture.

Ilijana Milos, a senior inspector in the Department for Human Resources and Logistics at the Ministry for Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina Neretva Canton, talked about the position of women in the police for students.

These educational sessions aimed to raise awareness and improve knowledge about the importance of gender equality and its respect.

The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Transcultural Psychosocial Education Foundation (TPO) are implementing the project Introduction of Gender-Sensitive Policies in Higher Education, with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom, under the signed Memorandum of Cooperation. The project aims to prevent and combat gender-based violence, discrimination, and sexual harassment while ensuring integrity and quality in higher education.
