The annual ESN-AIR project was held at the University of Skhodra on the 5th of December 2024.
During the meeting, the partners analyzed the activities implemented so far in the project and created an activity plan for next year. The Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar is responsible for the activities of WP4, which will start in October next year.
ESN-AIR stands for "Engaging Students for eNhancing internationalization practices in the Adriatic Ionian Region". It is an Ersmus+ CBHE project. The overall objective of the project is to enhance the internationalization of universities in the Adriatic-Ionian region through greater involvement of student associations through the following specific objectives:
1) Support internationalization practices by organizing formal and non-formal training for students and staff to improve the attractiveness of the Western Balkans region and reduce brain drain.
2) Creation of 2 ESN sections in the partner countries (Albania and Montenegro).
3) Promotion of the Erasmus+ program among students from remote areas and promotion of STEM subjects as a possible university career for women.
4) Raising interest and awareness of primary and secondary school students about higher education and internationalization.
