Bosnia and Herzegovina's STEM Researchers Convene for Youth Meetings
Young researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fields of natural, technical, and mathematical sciences (STEM) held meetings on November 3rd and 4th, 2023. The Department of Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, organized the event.
The primary goal of the conference was to establish contacts with young researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina actively involved in STEM fields at universities and research institutions worldwide.
The conference targeted doctoral students in STEM fields and young researchers who completed their doctorates in the last five years. However, it also welcomed all interested researchers, members of the academic and scientific community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy.
Faris Trešnjo from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University "Džemal Bijedić" of Mostar won the third prize for the best research presentation.
