International Professors Visit Faculty of Economics
On Wednesday, May 10th, the Faculty of Economics at the University "Džemal Bijedić" welcomed Professor Benjamin Peñasa and Professor Jesús Maríje Gómez García from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valladolid. This visit was organized as part of the Erasmus project for the exchange of teaching and non-teaching staff, with the aim of further enhancing international academic cooperation, exchanging ideas and knowledge, and establishing new contacts and opportunities for students and professors from both universities. Professors Peñas and García had the opportunity to meet with the Vice Dean for Teaching, Professor Dr. Goran Ćurić, and the Head of the PhD Program, Professor Dr. Veldin Ovčina, with whom they discussed possibilities for further collaboration and exchanged experiences and knowledge in the field of economics. During the conversation, the professors emphasized the importance of further enhancing international cooperation in higher education. They also expressed their desire to organize joint activities and projects, as well as opportunities for student and staff exchange.
After the meeting at the Faculty of Economics, Professor Benjamín Peñas and Jesús María Gómez García, together with Professor Ovčina, visited some of the tourist attractions in the city of Mostar.
