46. years of the University: Presentation of the publications for 2022.

The Days of the University programme for 15.02.2023. started with the presentation of the University publications in 2022. In total, 4 monographs and 9 serial publications were presented.

Mechanical Engineering Faculty was presented by associate prof. Senada Pobrić and her monograph „Organisation“. Vice-dean for science and research, prof. dr. Đani Rahimić presented the monograph “Geodetic plans”. The authors are Jasmin TEletovioc and Slobodanka Ključanin, external associates at the Civil Engineering Faculty.

The Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar is the co-publisher of the collection of papers "Challenges of integrating gender equality in the university community", which was presented by associate professor Rebeka Kotlo, coordinator of the project for the University.

Associate prof. Anita Duraković presented the monographic publication "Necessary defense” written by associate prof. Sunčica Hajdarović as well as three serial publications: Days of Family Law, Yearbook of the Faculty of Law, and Review of Law and Economics, all published by the Faculty of Law.

Associate prof. Sanvila Vuk, vice dean for science and research at the Faculty of Economics presented the collection of papers of the Faculty of Economics.

Associate prof. Denisa Žujo Zekić, vice-dean for science and research at the Faculty of Education, presented two serial publications “Eduka” and “Sportski logos”.

In 2022, the Faculty of Humanities published three serial publications: Research, Note on Mostar, and Herzegovina. Associate prof. Almir Marić, vice dean for science and research presented the three publications. Focus was on the journal Research, which is the first journal of the University whose papers have a DOI number.

The Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar has a very long publishing tradition. The first monographic publication “History of the Middle Ages” by Nijaz Slipičević dates to 1969. It was published by the then Pedagogical Academy in Mostar. The total number of publications of the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar amounts to about 400 monographic publications. Today, 351 monographic publications have been preserved and are kept in the University Library Archive. Missing are the pre-war editions that disappeared in the fire in May 1993, when the University Library building with its entire book collection of 100,000 books was destroyed. The University is the publisher of 17 serial publications, nine of which are published regularly today.

The entire publishing activity of the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar is kept in the University Library Archive and presented through the library's online catalogue. By the end of this year, it is planned to build a D-repository within the COBISS system for University publications. This way the users would have access not only to the bibliographic records but also to the publication contents and its covers.
